West County Garden Glove
West County GlovesGarden Glove Review: West County Garden Gloves, simply the best gloves I have tried.

As a women farmer and gardener with small hands, but long fingers, my problem has always been finding well-made gloves that fit. I have tried the inexpensive nitril gloves but found that they provided my hands with little protection when doing gardening or farm chores and during the summer months they left my hands hot and sweaty. Leather was another option that I explored with no success. Having small hands, I found that the fingers were often too short for my hands, and once again, gardening is wet work and wet leather is hot and sticky. Cotton gloves, well no surprise here tested as useless while the synthetic based gloves were comfortable but offered my hands little protection, which in my mind is the whole purpose in wearing gloves in the first place.

Fortunately for my hands, I happened upon West County garden Gloves several years ago when looking for a pair of insulated waterproof garden gloves for myself. After ordering several different brands, the West County Gloves are the only ones that I kept. I was so impressed with the brand, that we now carry only West County Garden Gloves, West County Rose Gloves, West County Waterproof Gloves and West County Classic Gloves at our retail nursery and on our online store.

So what makes West County Garden gloves so great?Waterproof gloves
These gloves fit snug, but not tight. They actually invigorate your hands while you work. Designed by a woman athlete and former apparel designer for NorthFace, these high performance gloves really work as hard as you do! The men's gloves are designed for a wide hand, and thicker fingers while the women's gloves are tailored specifically to fit a woman's narrower hand and longer fingers. Wearing a glove that fits right means no more blisters! Other functional features include:
  • A terry cloth brow wipe
  • Padded Synthetic Suede Palm that will protect your hands from thorns, glass, rough surfaces, wood splinters and tool handles.
  • Reinforced stress points with extra suede added for durability
  • Adjustable cuffs to keep out dirt and debris
  • Fun fashionable colors
  • Machine washable - how great is that!

Trendy Colors:
West County Garden Gloves not only perform well they look great. Leave it to a woman designer to design garden gloves in gold, plum, brick and stem. The new line of West County Gardener Classic gloves is even more colorful with two-toned designs in apricot/sage, berry/sage and lime/sage.

Multiple Uses:
West County Garden Gloves are not just for gardening. Their high-tech, functional design and fashionable colors make them perfect for cross country skiing, snow shoeing, horse back riding, mountain biking, walking, jogging, farm chores and more…

Quality Construction:
Quality garden gloves just like quality garden hand tools and quality cutlery don't have to cost a fortune. Whenever given the choice, always go for fit, function and construction over trends and packaging. With West County Gloves you really do get quality at a reasonable price.

Priced Right:
Not only are these great gloves, but they are a bargain! The standard work glove which I live in retails for $19.95, the rose gloves which are indestructible (my mom transplants cactus with them min Arizona) retail for $31.95, the insulated waterproof glove retails at $29.50 and their newest glove the Classic is priced at $23.95
