Invincibelle Spirit is a stately garden plant growing to 4 feet wide by 4 - 5 feet tall. The lush green foliage is the ideal backdrop for the profusion of large, deep pink buds that open to perfect balls of hot pink petals. As the flowers of Invincibelle Spirit Hydrangea mature, they fade to a soft shell pink before finally turning an attractive shade of lime green touched with pink accents. Ideal as a cut flower and superb as a flowering shrub; Hydrangea Invincibelle Spirit is also a heat tolerant, low maintenance landscape shrub that can be planted as a specimen plant or plant in masse for maximum impact.

If you like Annabelle Hydrangea, then you will adore Invincibelle Spirit! This lush, newly released Hydrangea has all the wonderful attributes of Annabelle but blooms in delightful shades of pink.

Blooming Tip:
For non-stop blooms all summer long plant Hydrangea Invincibelle Spirit with Hydrangea Limelight and Hydrangea Quick Fire.

How to Grow Invincibelle Spirit Hydrangea:

  • Invincibelle Spirit Hydrangea prefers good, loamy soil. Before planting your Hydrangea amend your soil as needed to improve the tilth and you will be rewarded for years to come!
  • As with most hardy Hydrangeas, prune in the late fall or for cold climate zones in the early spring once the danger of hard frosts has passed.
  • To keep Invincibelle Spirit blooming, remove spent flowers when they start to turn brown.
  • Water on a regular basis so the soil is moist but not over saturated. Once established, Hydrangea Invincibelle Spirit is somewhat drought tolerant but will require consistent watering in areas with a high heat index.
  • Fertilize in early spring by applying an organic fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs.
